The Longest Season in the East ends with a multi-sport Memorial Day Weekend

Vermont's Killington Resort, the largest mountain resort in Eastern North America and a POWDR company, today announced the closing day of the 2017-18 season will be Saturday, May 26 for winter operations while summer operations will open that same day.

"Killington was the first to open and the last to close in the East with 187 days of skiing and riding and it wouldn't be possible without our snowmaking and grooming teams. They are the heart of the resort and the reason we are able to host the Audi FIS Ski World Cup over Thanksgiving weekend with record breaking attendance two years in a row," says Mike Solimano, president and general manager of Killington Resort.

Guests can get a taste of the new Beast 365 All-Seasons Pass this weekend. For $99, adventure seekers will have unlimited access to skiing, golf, Adventure Center and mountain bike lift, trails and rentals from Friday to Monday. Guests who take advantage of this promotion can apply the $99 towards the year-long pass throughout the weekend.* Superstar Express Quad will be open for skiing and riding Friday and Saturday, the Killington Golf Course, Bike Park and Adventure Center will open Saturday through Monday.

The Beast 365 Year-Round Season Pass will unlock access to all four seasons at Killington Resort and Pico Mountain. This year round pass for $99* a month will include unlimited winter lift access, summer mountain bike lift and trail access, golf course greens fees and adventure center access. Discounted monthly payments are available for select age groups.

The grooming team will continue to work hard for top to bottom skiing through closing day – but it is not guaranteed. Visit killington.com for the conditions report.
