Shane
Sommet Saint-Sauveur is opening their ski season November 11th from 9am-11pm. Lift tickets will be $34.99 for full day and $29.99 for 4 hour block. Both 70 West and the Petit Viking (magic carpet beginner slope) will be open. Who’s going? I plan to go the following weekend but won’t be able to go this one. Link to comment
Gordo
Camp Fortune fired up their snow guns today. The long term forecast looks really good for the Gatineaus with lots of snow potential. Link to comment
Jake
Great news! I remember two years ago I went on their opening day, October 18th. Definitely the earliest I've ever skied, and probably one of the earliest times they've ever been open. I don't think I'll be going this year though, and plan to start my season maybe in a few weeks, or in early December. Link to comment
Paul
I am still planning on going this Sunday, as tomorrow won’t work for me. This would be my second earliest start to the season. October 23, 2015 was the earliest ever for me, at St. Sauveur. Report to follow. it’s on! Link to comment
Shane
Judging by pictures on Facebook posted yesterday, the conditions appeared to be quite good, with a good crowd coming out for Day One. Always amazing how they can open in very little time and with some cold weather. Link to comment
