Shane
Sommet Saint-Sauveur and Killington have both started their snowmaking. See story on the front page of SlopeEdge. Always in a race to be the first to open, the recent cold weather has given mountains an early boost. What are your predictions?
Paul
Between the two of them I would like to see St-So open first but if I were a "betting man" I would go with Killington. It looks a little warm spell coming up again, but with Killington's elevation, this would work to their advantage.
Shane
I agree. I say Killington opens around Halloween, and Saint-Sauveur 2nd week of November. The weather has been cool but it isn't going to last for the moment. Ski Saint-Bruno is also another who is quick to open, same for Camp Fortune (both in past years have held the 2nd place honors a couple times).
