Gordo
The latest issue of Ski Canada as an article about skiing in the Charlevoix and Saguenay areas of Quebec. The writer tours three resorts, Mont-Edouard, Le Valinouet and Mont Grand-Fonds. Has anyone been up that way? They sound like some great east coast powder spots. http://montedouard.com/ http://www.valinouet.qc.ca/ http://www.montgrandfonds.com/ski-alpin Link to comment
Paul
I have not been up that way skiing but friends of mine had. In particular, Grand-Fonds is the place to be out of the 3. Valinouet and Edouard are great as well but you always hear more of Grand-Fonds before the other 2. I am planning on sticking to the Townships and New England this year with maybe a sneak trip to Quebec City where I have family. I may just check out Grand-Fonds, Stoneham or Le Relais. I am not too big on Ste-Anne's though. I am heading up there for Thanksgiving Monday to my sister's place and staying in Lac-Béauport at the Entourage sur Le Lac. It's a new place that is on the property of the old Manoir St-Castin and the old ski hill across the road. The ski hill closed in 1997 and there are residences on the hill now. For sure I will try to get pics of the place. Link to comment
