Shane
Mont Cascades has announced that a new chalet will be constructed for the coming ski season. It will be located between the Promenades Quad and the magic carpet learning area, and not return to the location of the old chalet that was destroyed by fire. This is to make it better located for families and young children on the learning slopes. In addition, a new glade trail is being cut, and lights will be added to 1 or 2 more trails. The snowpark is also moving to a new location. Finally, the mountain will be open 7 days a week 9am-9pm. Matteo C
Matteo C
Yes I heard about that. I recently visited Cascades, making it my 7/7 Ottawa-area ski hill to visit, and enjoyed its terrain. While it’s not super high on my local mountain ranking, Mont Cascades is a really nice hill, and I feel a new chalet and glades run will really make it worth another visit next season!
