Shane Posted January 3 Share Posted January 3 Fire closes Calabogie Peaks ski resort Tuesday. The fire was in the pump house that supplies the snowmaking system. Firefighters arrived at the scene around 7 a.m. The fire did not affect the ski lifts. They hope to reopen tomorrow. Paul Posted January 4 Share Posted January 4 Wow! What a mess! Hopefully they can get back on track, and it doesn't ruin their season. I know the snowfall hasn't been plentiful in the Townships this season yet, and by the looks of it there, it's been roughly the same. All the best to Calabogie on their recovery.
