Hello Skiers and Riders!!! 🏂

The time has finally come.......
Mont Chilly will be opening for the first time this season on Saturday, February 20th. We are so excited to welcome everyone back for the 2021 ski season! We cannot thank all of our patrons enough for your patience and continued support in these very uncertain times. Although there have been some changes made here at Chilly due to the pandemic, our first priority remains offering the best experience possible to our guests. This season we will be opening with warm temps and sun🌞 in the forecast and on slope conditions will be packed powder on a thin base. So make sure to pack your sunnies😎 and a smile! This may be a long post but all of the information is very important to read and understand in order for everyone to have a safe and fun experience.

As previously mentioned, due to Covid-19, some changes have been made here at Chilly.

❄Our hours will remain the same from 10am - 4pm, Saturday and Sundays only.
** Note ** We are not open on weekdays.

❄Lift ticket prices are:

Adult (13 yrs and older) = $30.00

Child ( 6 - 12 ) = $20.00

**Please note that we only accept CASH. In order to limit the time individuals spend in the chalet, we ask that guests bring exact cash whenever possible.
》》We will not be offering half day tickets during the 2021 season.《《

🛑Important information regarding Covid Protocols at Mont Chilly🛑

These are the 3 golden  rules for the 2021 season:

• Respect a distance of 2 meters from other visitors and employees.
• Wearing a face covering in all indoor and outdoor public spaces.
• Frequent hand washing

CHALET:
• The chalet will be open for washroom use and warming up ( 15 minutes maximum) ONLY. No personal items are permitted in the chalet.
• 2 meter distance must be respected between individuals at all times.
• A new, dry face mask is required when entering the chalet.
• As our indoor capacity is limited, please come prepared with warm layers to spend the majority of your day outside.
• An assortment of drinks and snacks will be available for purchase and are to be consumed outside.
• Come prepared with your own lunch and hot/cold beverages.
• Hand sanitizer will be provided in several locations throughout the chalet and strict cleaning protocols will be followed between guests.

T-BAR:
• Face coverings must be worn while in line at the T-Bar. Balaclavas or neck warmers are acceptable but must cover both your nose and mouth and be made of a tight knit 2 ply material.
• It is mandatory to respect the 2m physical distancing while in line.
• As we are in a Red Zone, individuals may only ride the lift with others from their household.

PARKING LOT:
• Please be vigilant while in the parking lot and respect the 2 meter distancing rule. Gathering outside of your immediate household is prohibited.
• Arrive prepared to get ready for the day at your vehicle.
• Follow and respect the parking protocol that has been set in place.

>>As stated by the Quebec Government, inter-regional travel to and from a Red Zone is not recommended. Guests are asked to limit their activity to the practice of skiing while in the area.<<

Now on to the really important information.....how can you get a ticket for Mont Chilly??!!

As Covid has limited our chalet and on hill capacity, we will be requiring all guests pre-register before coming to the hill. This allows us to limit the amount of people here and keep everyone safe. We do not want people to drive long distances only to arrive here and realize we are at capacity for the day.

**How to pre-register**

We will be taking reservations starting at 8am on Friday, Feb. 19th for both Saturday, Feb.20th and Sunday, Feb.21st. Please send a personal message to our Mont Chilly Facebook with these details:

1. NAMES of all individuals attending.
2. AGES of all individuals attending.
3.  IF REQUIRING RENTALS >>> please provide height, weight, shoe size, ability level ( beginner, intermediate, advanced) and age in the message. We will advise you on the rental protocol when you pick up your ticket. As this process may take longer than usual, we thank you in advance for your patience and cooperation.

Registering and reserving spots will be in a first come, first serve style (via messenger) and will continue until we have reached capacity for each day.

Thank you all again for keeping the stoke high and sending us many messages over the past months. If you have any questions or concerns please do not hesitate in sending us a message or calling us at 819-683-3595.

See you on the slopes! 😃😃😃

❄❄❄❄❄❄❄❄❄❄❄❄❄❄❄❄

A little strange that they are still doing cash only and doing registration through Facebook though. Some people don't have or use Facebook (like me!). Can't they get a normal email, like gmail?
