Paul
For those heading to New Hampshire to ski, the 2018-19 lift ticket rates have been released on the New England Ski Industry's website. The average weekend lift ticket has increased by 10% for weekends and holidays. This year NH lost its second least expensive ski area, Granite Gorge who have suspended ski operations this year. One lost area, Tenney Mountain should be in full operation for this season after a soft opening last season. The most expensive area is Bretton Woods at $99 USD up $6, and the least expensive is Campton Mountain at $20 USD. There are 5 areas in the $90 USD range this season. Below is a link to the rate chart for the season for reference. https://www.newenglandskiindustry.com/viewstory.php?storyid=735&fbclid=IwAR1YRCCdyrZvFtRf-kFXhG0Igi4WErjWjaRrDB5Q0f0Zh4O1GCs2rw6xzj4
Shane
$99 at Bretton Woods, that's around $40 less than Stowe. The experience I'm sure is just as good, but the money goes farther at Bretton. The mountains have to realign the cost as they are slowly pricing it out of range for most people.
Paul
Bretton Woods is definitely worth a visit. The view alone of Mount Washington is something else. I hit it lucky last season when I went, actually it was exactly a year ago to the day, for early season skiing and it was like mid winter conditions. Mind you they had a dump two days prior to me going. Early season pricing last year was I believe $59 USD, and I hit it on the last day before the full regular season rates kicked in. The grooming there is top notch as they have been consistantly ranked as one of the best, if not the best, in the East. Shane
