Shane
Just saw a post on Facebook saying that Mont Gleason will be replacing the t-bars with a new quad chairlift with loading carpet for the 2019-20 ski season. Paul
Just saw this a few moments ago. You beat me to the news! It will certainly take the overflow from the main quad when it gets busy. I would normally ride the double when it starts getting busy. There is usually no line up at the double unless it’s super busy. The t-bars are rarely used anymore. I think of all the times I have been to Gleason in the past 3 seasons, I have only seen them running once. The t-bar lift line is the uphill route for the skinners who go up. Paul
Here are some photos of the early work going on at Mont Gleason posted on their Facebook page. The new quad with loading carpet is to be ready for the upcoming 2019-2020 season. The t-bars have long since been removed to make way for the new quad. Doppelmayr has been busy this off season!
