Paul Posted May 8, 2018 Share Posted May 8, 2018 With the ski season barely over, lift projects at some New England Ski Areas for 2018-19 have been announced as per the New England Ski Industry’s website via link below. Going to be another busy off season for some resorts south of the border. Some of the projects confirmed: Magic Mountain, VT : Continuation and completion of the Green Double Chair. Waterville Valley, NH: replacement of the High Valley Double with a T-Bar. Bretton Woods, NH: Insatllation of a Gondola with 8 passenger cabins. Stratton, VT: Replacement of the Snow Bowl fixed grip Quad lift with a new High Speed Quad. Killington, VT: Dismantling of the Snowdon Quad for relocation to the South Ridge Sector, and being replaced with a Six seater bubble chair - Snowden Poma transfer to the Swirl Trail on Ram’s Head for race training - K1 Gondola will be rebuilt and new cabins being installed. Ascutney Trails, VT: T-Bar installation pending construction permits. This t-bar was transferred from le Relais near Quebec City. Paul Posted May 9, 2018 Author Share Posted May 9, 2018 As per Magic Mountain’s Facebook page, they have announced that they have purchased Stratton Mountain’s Snowbowl fixed grip Poma Quad chair to replace their Black Chair.
