At the age of 5, my parents helped me navigate the bumps on Pineault at Camp Fortune in the Gatineau Hills and after several seasons of skiing every resort in the area, I became obsessed with the sport. As a teen I skied at Edelweiss and it's there that I spotted a publicity poster for the Mont Saint-Sauveur water park. I convinced my family to take the two hour drive to the MSSI ski resort and my interest became a true passion.

The Saint-Sauveur valley has become a second home to me, I ski every winter weekend, I spend the summer at the water park, I bike the trails in the fall and I capture every adventure with photography or videos.

SlopeEdge is a creative outlet for my team and I, to inform, amuse and chronicle our enthusiasm for mountain sports. I hope that our fans enjoy browsing the site!

I give credit to my family, as it is due to them that I know and enjoy this amazing sport we call downhill skiing.

In reality, it was my mother who introduced me to skiing at a very young age, and then my sister, who pushed me to return in my early 30s, after having taken a break for about 15 years (I was in hockey).

Today, due to my passion for the sport, I travel across Quebec, the United-States and the world, in search of the best conditions, the most amazing slopes (and hidden corners). All this for close to 60 outings a year.

Let me speak a bit about myself... I have practiced many sports before starting to downhill ski. I have been skiing for several years, between my swimming, volleyball and badminton.

During the summer, I enjoy kayaking and cycling in the mountains or long distance.

I was only introduced recently to this amazing sport by my partner, but I never believed I would enjoy it as much as I have. She made me passionate about skiing. Prior to this, I have always played field sports, tennis, and water sports, so you can see that skiing is a whole new experience for me.

I am very anxious for the new season, to enjoy once again this great sport. We don't have to be an Olympic skier to take pleasure in the sport and admire the beauty of winter. What could be better than to take in fresh air, among great friends!

Big enthusiast of “Extreme Camping”, I must admit that I don’t ski. My main contributions for the website revolve around hiking and camping activities. Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter, I’ve done them all!

I recall fond memories at -33 all warm in a Quinzhee with only a hare to eat for a week.

I am also an amateur photographer, as we regularly do “Photo safaries” in the Outaouais region.
