A perfect day under the sun at the Mont Cascades Water Park.

This is known as Ottawa-Gatineau's Mountain Water Park. Contrary to the regions other water park, here the natural setting and scenery is all around. This water park is located about 25 minutes from downtown Ottawa. The rates are incredible, at $15 for the day or $35 for a season pass, and free parking.

This water park has a good selection of slides and rides, including the ProSlide Tornado, called the Tornado Alley. A big rush experience, with moments of weightlessness, definitely an experience not to be missed. Another classic, the Vortex, gives the rider a high speed ride into a bowl, where they spin around several times to finally splash down into the pool beneath. You can also brave the Mammoth River with your closest friends, in a big circular raft, or enjoy the timeless tandem slides, the Rapid River and the Black Magic. For those seeking competition, the Pro Racer is your answer. Featuring four lanes, you descend at high speeds on blue mats, trying to find out who will arrive first. And don't forget the body slides that propel you to insane speed for a blood curdling experience. Many other slides, including several for kids, complete the park.

Overall, the Mont Cascades water park is a great experience, and a not to be missed value in summer excitement. Highly recommended for many reasons, you're guaranteed to have a splash!
